We know that all parents need some "me-time". We offer a variety of adult only events and classes. Our most popular adult only event is our "Parents Night Out" event, which is planned monthly and is a different type of outing every month. Pamper yourself at the spa, head out to the movies, go outside and get some exercise, or just drop the kids off with an organized babysitter and do your own thing. Check out the event each month and join in!

 

Parents' Night Out  

Each month we put on a "Parents' Night Out" event for our members. These events are planned 4-6 weeks in advance, so check the BigTent calendar for the details of the upcoming events as they are posted. Past events have included Glassblowing, Cooking Superbowl Appetizers, and Paddleboarding.

April PNO: Join us a La Jolie Nail Spa for pampering on April 17!  Relax with other PAMP moms and be treated to a Refresh Mani/Pedi. 

May PNO: We are still finalizing the details for this event, check back here or on the calendar for more information. The event is likely to be an Adult Datenight event, where you can drop your children off for 3 hours of childcare at the JCC in Palo Alto and proceed out to have a kid-free evening. Children will get treated to a movie and other activities while you enjoy your time on our own.

June PNO: Date and details to be finalized, we are looking at having a Dad's Night Out event in June for all of the PAMP Dads.

 

 

Mommy-to-be Meetup  

Excited about your new baby bump? Looking to connect with other moms-to-be? You're in the right group!! Join us for a relaxing time to meet and mingle with others in your happy state. Have your dessert and eat it too! Let PAMP treat you to dessert at Prolific Oven. You deserve it!!

Mommy-To-Be Meetup is designed for expecting moms. We meet informally the last Tuesday of every month to enjoy an evening out with other parents-to-be to relax, share stories, and enjoy each others company at Prolific Oven.

 

Prenatal Yoga  

Taking the time for reflection can aid in identifying maternity care options that are best suited to the individual. Casey’s practice on Monday evenings guides women to trust their bodies and be educated about prenatal and birthing options. Using ideal alignment, her practice helps mothers to step out of their thoughts and into their bodies, enjoying a full hour to slow down and tune in. A safe space is fostered for mothers to share the joys and challenges of their experiences as they approach birth. Students will enjoy music through the active parts of the class. The steady and gentle practice is appropriate for all levels, with an intensity that varies depending on the energy of the group.

 

Restorative Yoga  

After a long day, it can be a challenge to let go of the busyness and settle into a restful night. Gentle yoga provides a wonderful transition for expectant and new mothers. Mia's Wednesday evening class combines slow steady work in the asanas as a way to begin clearing the mind to prepare for meditation. Class will begin with seated breathing, move into warming up the body to release physical tension and increase circulation, and conclude with traditional restorative postures and mindfulness practice. Mothers looking for a gentle, meditative practice will benefit from this class.
