The Parents' Club of Palo Alto and Menlo Park (PAMP) is a diverse group of parents who have come together to form a volunteer-led, non-profit organization to offer community, events, classes, resources, knowledge, and support on common interests.
PAMP is the largest parent organization on the Peninsula. Our members extend up and down the Peninsula, to San Francisco Bay Area, and South Bay.
Our mission is to enrich the lives of families with young children, by providing resources, support and community in Palo Alto, Menlo Park and the surrounding areas.
PAMP consist of both an online and in-person community.
- Our vibrant online community features forums for discussing general issues, a dedicated forum for finding and listing nannies/babysitters and other domestic help, a robust classifieds section where you can find a great selection of baby and kid items (and the occasional furniture item), and sub-groups where you can connect with like-minded parents based on topic. PAMP also features blog posts by members and articles featuring the latest parenting news and trends.
- There is an array of in-person offerings where you can connect live with other PAMP members. We produce three large events each year – the Preschool Fair, Rummage Sale and the ever-popular Family Day. In addition we host special events every month such as Day at the Farm, Bounce House events and other fun activities. On a weekly basis PAMP coordinates classes such as music and gym as well as playdates for kids of various ages.
All of these PAMP offerings are made possible by the thanks to the dedication and hard work of our member-volunteers and through our organizational partnerships to support our events, subgroups, playgroups and do all the other nitty-gritty work to make PAMP tick. In addition, we have a tiny team of part-time staff that keep our operations and key programs running smoothly.
