You Can Afford Private College

Posted By Administration, Monday, May 15, 2017
Updated: Saturday, April 29, 2017

If you think you can’t afford private college for your kids, think again. Nearly 300 private colleges – 20 in California – participate in Private College 529 Plan. The Plan enables you to prepay tomorrow’s tuition at today’s prices at any participating school. Guaranteed. California institutions like Stanford, Redlands, Pomona, and Caltech. Nationally, think Princeton, Notre Dame, MIT and Duke.

Locking-in today’s tuition can potentially save you thousands of dollars. No investments. No market volatility. No fees. Every dollar you contribute buys tuition. You receive the same federal tax advantages as all 529 plans run by states, but this plan is run by participating schools.

Learn more about how to save for college through our free webinar.  Or call our non-commission higher education specialists at 888.718.7878. Acting before July 1 lets you lock in current tuition rates.

ISTP Students are Inspired to Develop an Inquisitive and International Mindset

Posted By Administration, Monday, May 15, 2017
Updated: Saturday, April 29, 2017

The International School of the Peninsula (ISTP) is a unique school that educates students through a rigorous and dynamic bilingual program, inspiring them to develop an inquisitive and responsible international mindset. Welcoming students ages 3 years old through 8th grade, ISTP provides a transformative educational journey that encourages compassion, independence, action, and gratitude.

ISTP’s program of structured inquiry-based learning allows students to question deeply and seek answers themselves, teaching them how to learn instead of simply teaching them about a certain topic. This inquiry-based method is paired with a dynamic bilingual education, where students are immersed in a rich multilingual and multicultural environment, which allows them to develop language, cultural literacy, and the communications skills needed to thrive in an international setting.

The school also boasts a burgeoning Maker Education/Design Thinking curriculum, an established Computer Science program, and memorable experiential learning opportunities (foreign and domestic travel).

Stanford Medicine Fertility Options

Posted By Administration, Monday, May 1, 2017
Updated: Saturday, April 29, 2017

Recent studies reveal that as many as 15 percent of couples in the United States are considered infertile — that is, they are unable to conceive a child after one year of unprotected intercourse.

Advances in fertility treatment and preimplantation genetic testing (PGT) can improve in vitro fertilization (IVF) success rates for women who have suffered from recurrent miscarriage or repeated IVF failure. At Stanford Medicine Fertility and Reproductive Health, we provide our patients with leading-edge care, including access to PGT and other innovative technology, as well as a wide array of on-site services.
